Notes for #1335 "HDS U60XRGT"

Light submitted by Lebkuecher.

This light has a long story...

Lebkuecher originally bought a U60 in 2005. He showed it to Gransee at one of the Phoenix Get-togethers, who commented that the light didn't look like it was producing 60 lumens. Lebkuecher contacted HDS and requested a repair or replacement. The repaired unit still did not appear to be producing 60 lumens. In fact, it was tested at LSI on 7-19-2005 and produced a maximum of 47lumens. The repaired unit also had a problem oscillating between two lower levels The light was replaced with #1335

This test is on the replacement #1335. We list this as a light sourced by the manufacturer for the purpose of testing since Lebkuecher notified HDS via email that each unit would be evaluated for light output.

#1335 still has a flickering problem at low power but Lebkuecher has decided to not send the unit back anymore.
